Peter Vijlbrief

Peter Vijlbrief is a contemporary artist from the Netherlands.  Most of his drawings are made using graphite and colored pencils.  He is able to emphasize certain aspects of his drawings by using bright colors in specific areas.  Many of his works consist of portraits of celebrities, animals, fictional characters, family, and still life.  He is a part-time musician as well as an art teacher.  His best works, in my opinion, are Chinese Man, Dog (pictured here), Great Southern Land, and  Indian Man.  He is not well know, but can express life vividly on paper.
